Who we are
With a business model dedicated to our hosts and guests, STAY was founded by Mike Hadjioannou with the goal of becoming one of the leading players in short let rentals and AirBnB property management in Cyprus. Our services are designed with the most demanding hosts in mind, and our mission is to help property owners turn their assets into a sustainable source of income by applying a combination of technology and data along with traditional and tested hospitality practices in the short-term rental market.
In our days, guests are accustomed to hotel amenities and exceptional personal services when they book a vacation rental, something that can be difficult to achieve when you host multiple guests every week. STAY operates and manages properties all over Cyprus, where it combined its 30+ years of experience in the construction industry, with its expertise in Hospitality and Marketing to create a collection of premium vacation rental property management services to deliver meaningful and innovative solutions in all problems that may arise.
How it all started
STAY was founded by Mike Hadjioannou, a shareholder and Director of HA.DE.CO Ltd, a construction company with over three decades of experience and more than 100 completed projects.
The idea for STAY emerged in early 2017 when Mike Hadjioannou observed a significant gap in the vacation property market. Many properties were not reaching their full potential due to poor condition and inadequate management, limiting their profitability. With extensive experience in the construction industry, Mike saw an opportunity to combine property renovation with professional management services.
As they began renovations, the team quickly realized that finding a reliable property management company was not an easy task. This challenge highlighted the growing demand for high-quality property management services. Recognizing the potential in this gap, Mike and his team decided to establish STAY to provide a comprehensive solution that would relieve property owners of the management burden while maximizing the performance of their investments.
To bring this vision to life, Mike assembled a diverse team with expertise in various fields, including marketing, computer engineering, quantity surveying, and property management. Together, they created a company focused on quality, reliability, and a commitment to helping property owners achieve the full potential of their investments.
